Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac concluded their two-year school self-assessment process which takes place every 6 years. The rigorous self-study process addresses three main areas: identify the use of prior Accreditation Findings, review the quality of the school program and identify new areas for enhancing the program. Some of the specific aspects taken into consideration include: the viability of the charism, assessment of the school’s Catholic identity, spiritual and professional development, support for student spiritual, personal and academic growth, etc.
The final paragraph of the report states:
The Visiting Committee observed SJDLS is a vibrant, charismatic, faith-filled Catholic “family”… Through the leadership of the Sisters of the Company of Mary, not even the beauty and elegance of the surrounding Temecula Valley country can overshadow the effect that SJDLS has on the surrounding community as they live the charism of Saint Jeanne in Maintaining the Flame, Extending A Hand and Fulfilling our Name.
